Spring manicure fun in Japan

I'm not really what I'd call a girly girl, but it had been such a long time since I'd splurged on some self care that I wanted to get a mani and pedi done. I've always seen so many people here in Japan with cute nail art, so I thought why not. Spring nails it is!

A purplish-pink color with a glittery sheen, some sparkles, and some delicately painted-on flowers, and I feel happy every time I look at my hands. They're definitely giving me all the spring vibes even though we've still got snow forecast this weekend here in Niigata. 

If you need a fun manicure, I got these done at Sinden in Tokyo - they are an English speaking salon that do hair, makeup and nails. 

Anyone else embraced the fun nail art that Japan seems to offer at most nail salons?
