Urasa Chrysanthemum Festival

We popped out today to enjoy both the autumn weather and the chrysanthemum festival being held at our local temple. It runs until November 10th, so if you're in the Minamiuonuma area during that time, head to Bishamondo in Urasa and check it out.

There are pots and pots of the beautiful flowers, and it doesn't hurt that the backdrop of the temple is mountains with the beautiful autumn foliage changing colors. With all the brightness in the area right now, it's a little hard to fathom that in a month or so here the whole area will be covered in snow.
