The description

This product is a cream soda flavored drip coffee sachet, and it's a limited time offering available from Kaldi Coffee Farm stores. It was priced at 200 yen including tax.

The good

There are some flavors that you'd typically associate being used alongside coffee, but this cream soda one from Kaldi Coffee Farm was fun for something unique and different! The coffee itself is sourced from Ethiopia, and it's flavored with the taste of melon soda and vanilla ice cream! I think it's a really nice option for the summer months (the melon flavor, especially), and for the price it's cheaper than grabbing a coffee at somewhere like Starbucks or Tully's -- albeit you do have to prepare it yourself! Very convenient to pop in your luggage if you're traveling for work or leisure, too!

The not so good

I've said it before about these drip coffee sachets, but I do wish the outer packaging wasn't made out of single use foil/plastic. I don't know if a firm cardboard would do the trick (I imagine maybe humidity would cause some problems), but I hate that the waste just gets trashed. Not great for the environment! Taste-wise, though, this is a fun coffee that feels like a really appropriate release for the summer season. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different from their morning coffee fix. Happy caffeinating, and enjoy! :)
