Infused with fruits like grapes, lychee, and grapefruit along with some special salt in Okinawa, this drink can easily be found in convenience stores and supermarkets all over Japan. My husband's student always gives him this and I have had the honor to drink some when he takes them home. This product that I am going to review though is the pouch version of this product as it was a first for me to try it!
The good
This specific product was a surprise to me since I was actually looking for a different pouch and this product was there so I decided to try it. I thought it was bigger than other pouches I have bought before. When I checked, it was actually 300 grams. With this fact, it was pretty worth it especially because it was less than 100 yen with tax. I decided to shop at Seiyu this time so I can save a little bit and I was not disappointed. As for the taste, I would say it was close to the bottled version.
The not so good
As I mentioned above, the product did not really taste that different from its bottled version. However, I would consider this as a negative this time around since I was expecting it to taste exactly the same as the original. At first, I expected it to have a jelly-like consistency since I imagined it would be different from the drink. After consuming it, my first reaction was, "Oh, this is a drink!". So as you can imagine, it was like a rollercoaster for me when I tried it. Next time I'd like to have something to drink, I would choose the bottle since I liked its taste better than this one.
