The taste is gentle which allowed me to enjoy the natural sweetness and flavor of corn. I have eaten other products from Koikeya and most of my experiences were positive because who would like their potato chips, right? I don't know about most people but among my close friends, I am the only one who favors mentaiko" (明太子) .  As I naturally like "mentaiko" (明太子) although I haven't eaten it many times and the only time I did this was in Hakata this summer, I must say this new flavor was a plus for me. The amount inside the bag was sufficient unlike other products where their original packaging was kept but if you open them they would just be halfway or even less full.

With the recent increase in prices of most products, I have been pretty conscious as to where I can buy my snacks. As much as possible, I tend to avoid buying snacks at convenience stores they might cost more so I recommend buying this snack at supermarkets instead. Meanwhile, anti-fans of "mentaiko" (明太子) might be turned off by this flavor so I think that would be a downside for them but not for me. I think the package design can also be changed from purple to red. This would be beneficial for foreigners who can't read Japanese characters so they will be warned before picking this item thinking it's something else.
