Cinnamoroll lands at McDonalds

When I ventured to McDonalds a couple of days ago, I discovered that Cinnamoroll had arrived. In fact, Cinnamoroll actually apparently arrived a week ago when we weren’t looking.

My child was especially excited to discover this, rushing over to the display cabinet to just gaze at it, rapt, before announcing that she wanted each and every one of the Cinnamoroll toys shown.

The Cinnamoroll toys are part of McDonalds’ happy sets and, until July 23rd, they are one of the four toys a child can choose from to go with their happy set. In addition to Cinnamoroll, there are also Paw Patrol toys available, and the usual picture books and “zukan”, non-fiction books that often come with stickers. 

Cinnamoroll will be with the happy sets for a pretty limited time, but I’m honestly just glad to see that they’re still available. It indicates McDonalds Japan’s anti-scalping measures are working to some degree, and that’s good news when you have a young cheeseburger and Sanrio-loving person in your home!
