Grateful for Seria 100-yen stores puffy sticker selection

Sometime in the last few months, Seria 100-yen store started selling the puffy and 3D stickers that are experiencing a boom in Japan in the last couple of years. It started with Bonbon Drops, stickers that were designed to look like tiny candy drops, which led to an overall boom in puffy / 3D stickers.

Seria has always sold stickers, but they were the traditional flat type and / or sticker flakes. They didn't offer the raised, air or foam filled stickers until earlier this year. Actually, that is not entirely true. They have had a particular type of raised sticker for years - the paper doll with dress up stickers. But the type that kids (and adults) are collecting now for sticker books and sticker exchange are a relatively new addition to the 100-yen stores. 

I guess they found a way to produce the 3D and fluffy, air or foam filled stickers on a large-scale so that they can offer them for just 110 yen (with tax). I for one am very grateful that they have, they have saved me a fortune! Their selection is pretty good too.
