Kutani Porcelain vending machine in Haneda Airport

In my previous post I introduced the vending machine that sells Kifuda in the "Festival Plaza" area of the 5th floor of Haneda Airport Terminal 3. But right beside it there is another unique vending machine that sells Kutani-yaki porcelain souvenirs.

Kutani-yaki is a type of traditional Japanese pottery. It is known for its vivid colors and intricate hand-painted designs. There are many different kinds, but this vending machine sells finely decorated porcelain pieces, under the concept banner "Kutani Yaki Gatchan" (GOTCHANCE). It is in the area above the check-in gates, before you go through immigration, making it accessible to all global travelers in the airport. 

As you can hopefully see in the photo, prices start from 1000 yen for traditional masks and amulets. There are a few more expensive items, at 2000 yen, including figurines and jewelry.  At the bottom of the machine it states, in Japanese, the items are exclusive to this vending machine. So, if you pick one up, you are getting not only a beautiful souvenir, but one that is unique.
