Unique vending machine at Haneda Airport, dispensing "kifuda"

Haneda Airport is quite well known for its range of vending machines particularly among vending machine aficionados. I have only seen a small handful of them myself, but the one that really stood out to me sells "kifuda" which are wooden talismans.

In the case of the one in Terminal 3, they are kifuda designed to look like airplane boarding passes. They come with a red thread that can be used to hang up, and there is a wall of kifuda beside the vending machine. They leave out thick markers so you can write a wish on the kifuda.

Or maybe you would prefer to bring yours home, as a quintessential Japanese souvenir and reminder of your time in Japan. At the time of writing this, they cost 500 yen each. Simply put your money in the vending machine and it will dispense your own wooden boarding pass talisman.
