Spotted at Haneda: A Kimono Culture Station

Kimono Culture Station is the name of a store in Haneda Airport Terminal 3. It is not on the official maps for terminal 3 on the Haneda Airport website, so I did a little bit of research. It would seem the store is only one year old. I spotted it while at the airport thanks to the attractive display outside, pictured. And then researched more about it.

At this store, you can experience a professional dressing you in a kimono or yukata. And right now, they have a special offer on their plans. They have two different plans, both allow you rent the kimono for an hour after being dressed. For the full experience, the dressing takes about 40 minutes, and it normally costs 9800 yen, but right now it's only 4000 yen. They also have a ten-minute dressing plan normally costs 5000 yen, but right now (June 2026) it only costs 2000 yen.

As you can see in the photo, there is a nice photo spot at the store itself. But you can also walk to the "festival plaza" area which makes a nice backdrop for photos. The Nihonbashi bridge is beside it too. The store is located in the departures area, on the third floor, near the elevators to the bus stops. It is opposite the 7-Eleven which is clearly marked on the airport maps.
