Paripari anniversary: a lot of work for a small prize

Morinaga's popular ice-cream "Paripari Bar", is currently celebrating 40 years. To mark the anniversary, Morinaga had two campaigns. One is over, the other has a week left. It is on until August 31st 2026.

What struck me about this campaign is how small the prize is: just 1000 Eraberu Pay Points. And in order to be in the draw to win, you need to take a clear photo of a full printed receipt that shows you bought a Morinaga Paripari Bar within the period of the campaign and upload it to their website. And in order to that, you need to become a member of their fan club; Angel PLUS fan club. It's free to join, but you have to input personal details. 

They will give out 1000 prizes of pay points in total, so maybe the chances are quite good. Still though, it seems to me like a lot of work (and not ecologically friendly, encouraging people to print receipts) just to be in the draw for a 1000 yen Eraberu Pay Points. What do you think?
