A True Story of a Tokyoite who visits our car!

This is a true story, no word of a lie. We have a regular visitor who travels from Tokyo annually just to see our Mitsubishi Pajero. At first, when he didn't have his own car, the visitor would travel more than two hours on public transport. On his most recent visit, during the summer, he came in his own car ... also a Pajero!

I wish I could remember the date now, but it all started a few years ago when there was a knock at my husband's workshop door. "Excuse me, would you mind if I took some photos of your car". We also have an 8-seater, but my husband knew instinctively it was the Pajero he was referring too. It turns out our model and color of Pajero is the visitor's absolute favorite car of all time. It also came to light how he ended up seeing our car in rural Saitama when he was from Tokyo. Earlier that year, he was on a cycle with a group when he spotted the Pajero and took a mental note of the location.

He was a university student at the time. On his next free day, months later, he made the journey by public transport for the first time. That's when he first knocked on our door. He's been back several times since and we've seen him grow over the years. He's now in fulltime employment and saved up enough money that he could buy his own Pajero, but not the same model and color as ours, which remains his favorite. Hence, he still comes to see it annually!
