The Vanilla Yogurt by Luna is particularly good, in my humble opinion. The smooth, mellow texture and gentle sweetness makes it taste and feel more like a dessert. Reportedly, the long fermentation and fresh cream in the product, creates its signature silky, indulgent taste. I also like that it is widely available nationwide in supermarkets and drug stores. Sometimes the company, Luna, do collaborations with other food brands. For example, the Bread Papa x Vanilla Yogurt collaboration earlier in the summer. It’s easy to enjoy on its own, but also works well with fruit or granola.

Although it is delicious, because it is more like a dessert than a regular yogurt, I don't think you would eat it daily. Especially as one yogurt works out at more than 80 yen, before tax. However, yogurts on the whole are quite expensive in Japan, much more expensive than my home country, so on balance it is a reasonable price. Some people might the sweetness too much for a yogurt and / or the heaviness a bit overwhelming. Likewise, the vanilla flavor might feel a bit too much one note for some.
