The description
This product is the Shiawase Butter (Happiness Butter) flavor of Potato Chips by Calbee, with a rich butter flavor with honey, parsley, and mascarpone cheese powder.
The good
This "happiness butter" flavor of potato chip is totally different to anything I can get in my home country (Ireland), but I think this product would do very well in Ireland. The first bite of this product always reminds me home because it tastes like a 'new' (a type of) potato, in its jacket, with a generous helping of butter melted on top. I really like the smell of this product too. The rich buttery aroma is unmistakable when you open the bag. The honey adds a gentle sweetness. Apparently, there is parsley in the product too - it is very subtle, to the point I barely recognize it in each bite.
The not so good
The product has suffered from shrinkflation this year. It was once a 60 gram bag, but I noticed today that it is now only a 55 gram bag. However, it might be for the best: while I do love the buttery flavor of these crisps, eating one pack to myself I find the taste gets a bit repetitive and too one note halfway through. I much prefer sharing even this smaller size. As Tonetoedo mentions in her review (https://www.city-cost.com/blogs/TonetoEdo/GRXBg-foods_product) they are addictive. Likewise, Genkidesu points the calorie intake. Genkidesu's review is for the larger size (https://www.city-cost.com/blogs/genkidesu/wry7R-foods_product), but the smaller 55 gram size isn't actually that calorific for potato chips with 305 kcal per pack.
