The description
This product is a snack-pack premium; a Disney Chip and Dale drawstring pouch bundled with the character Chip and Dale corn snacks, sold in limited places Japan.
The good
The Chip and Dale characters caught my attention on a discount stand in Apita supermarket. There was a selection of Chip and Dale goods, but this one - a drawstring pouch with a snack inside - was what stood out to me most. I am not usually one for impulse buying, but I have a daughter who loves Chip and Dale, and Chip and Dale character goods are not as easy to come by as other Disney characters in Japan, so I was reeled in. Moreover, I knew she would use the drawstring pouch - they are always handy to have in Japan as they are used for a multitude of purposes.
The not so good
I was fooled by the fact that the drawstring pouch came with Chip and Dale character corn snacks. They are quite rare. And, according to my daughter, they were very nice. But when I really thought about it after the fact, I probably could have bought a drawstring bag - even a Chip and Dale one - in a 100-yen store and bought corn snacks separately and it would have worked out at half the price. However, they wouldn't have been Chip and Dale corn snacks! So I suppose, on balance, for the novelty and rarity, 560 yen is not that bad. But it's not cheap either.
