A Very Good Breakfast Day

Today, and October 11th annually, is Very Good Breakfast Day とってもいい朝食の日 in Japan. The anniversary was created by Snow Brand Megmilk. They chose October 11th, 10/11, as the date because it can be read as "To (10) temo ii (11)" meaning 'very good'.
The day was created to encourage families, particularly those raising young children, to think about the importance of breakfast. With busy weekday mornings making it difficult to prepare balanced meals, the anniversary promotes simple ways to help children start the day with proper nutrition. It also highlights the value of family communication around the breakfast table.
As someone living in Japan, I can relate to rushed mornings and my teenager's temptation to skip breakfast altogether. But I always make sure they eat something, no matter how small. And I always eat a breakfast myself. But because all 6 of us have a very different schedules, it is hard to sit down for breakfast together. Do you get to have breakfast with your family?
