The description

Starbucks' Pure Matcha Cream Frappuccino blends vibrant green tea flavour with ice and milk for a smooth, refreshing drink. Topped with whipped cream.

The good

I'm not usually a matcha fan, but the Pure Matcha Cream Frappuccino is one of the few matcha drinks I genuinely enjoy. The matcha flavor is present without being overwhelmingly grassy or bitter, while the milk and whipped cream create a smooth, sweet balance. The icy texture makes it especially refreshing on a warm day, and the cream adds a dessert-like finish. I think this drink works well for people who are curious about matcha but aren't ready for stronger traditional matcha flavors. I'd start with the small size though! It's cool, sweet, and easy to drink, making it an enjoyable Starbucks treat when you're looking for something a little different.

The not so good

Although this is one of the more approachable matcha drinks I've tried, it still may not appeal to people who dislike matcha altogether. The green tea flavor is milder than many matcha beverages, but it's still noticeable throughout the drink. As the Frappuccino melts, the texture becomes thinner and the flavor can seem less balanced. The whipped cream also adds extra sweetness, which some people may find excessive. It's refreshing, but it feels more like a dessert than a drink, and the Starbucks price point makes it difficult to justify as a regular purchase. If you're not interested in matcha flavors, there are probably other Frappuccino options you'll enjoy more.
