US Expat Voting in Japan
All this talk about the US presidential candidates is scary as usual. I recently heard about some things Trump said that are not exactly understanding towards Japan. It makes me feel like he has no understanding of Japanese relations with the US for the last 50+ years.
All this gave me motivation for looking into how to vote while living in Japan. Here is the link for US citizens.
If you have an address back home, an address here, and a US drivers license, you're set. It should take you all of five minutes to register to vote from overseas by email, mail, or fax (really, why does anyone still use fax?) for the presidential primaries and elections coming up.
Do it, like the future of your country (and Japan) depends on it (it kinda does).
I like snacks, Engrish, cats, plants eating buildings, riding a bike, photography, painting, onsen, traveling, playing board games with my nerdy Japanese husband, and living in Japan. I blog at https://helloalissa.wordpress.com/
