Strawberry Packaging

I love strawberries and have been buying them a ton at Gyomu Super lately because they are only around 200 yen a pack. I usually get Fukuoka's amaou, but the cheaper "chibbi" ones, which we think are tastier anyway.
I have been frustrated by the packaging strawberries come in though. I only noticed this year because I buy them way more often. The excessive plastic cover sticks to the strawberries and everything else. I still need to put the pack into a little plastic bag or the berries will fall out. It is also tricky to get the bag and cover plastic off in one piece. In fact, there are scissor marks on the sticky sides of the plastic cover, but using scissors doesn't usually end well either.
I prefer the simple soft paper cartons that berries come in back home.
