Teensy Cookies

Of course I expect things in Japan to be smaller than what I was used to back home, but this was just funny to me.

Not only are these cookies tiny compared with the image on the box (thus the disclaimer), but they are also tiny compared with the box. It seems like a waste of packaging and a bit deceiving to me.

I've heard that snacks and the amount of product in a package has been decreasing while the prices stay the same. I thought these used to be bigger. But why not make the box smaller too and cut back on packaging and shipping expenses?

I'll admit they are tasty anyway.
