Dessert Themed Ice Creams in Japan

I've been noticing funny ice cream flavors based on snacks or sweets and I think this is a new trend.

Bourbon has an ice cream now (Latte flavor) and so does Lotte, like this Rum Raisin ice cream based on their Rummy chocolates.

I also spotted a weird Hanako ice bar based on tapioca drinks - maybe good? Maybe really weird? I can't imagine frozen tapioca being good.

Meiji keeps making these weird seasonal flavors... and I keep trying them.

I knew their Sweet's brand of ice cream is based on desserts, so I took a chance on this Mont Blanc version.

I can't say I loved it, but it was interesting.

I'm a chestnut fan, but the flavor of the bottom part wasn't too noticeable. I thought it was supposed to be chestnut.

The flavor I noticed was the white layer of ice cream that just looks like vanilla. It somehow tasted like whipped cream flavor ice cream. The crunchy graham cracker crust part was nice too. The top layer was strange though and didn't have any or much chestnuts mixed in.
