Lawson's Shrimp Gratan
I'm not a convini frequenter, but this 'Melty Cheese Shrimp Gratan' is something I had an urge to try after someone ate it while sitting next to me on an airplane. It smelled good and I'm a fan of gratan - a sort of baked macaroni and cheese.
When I especially didn't want to cook or do dishes but needed to eat something on my own, I had a chance to try this. It's 450 yen including tax and the staff will offer to heat it up for you. There is also a slightly cheaper doria version.
I had mine heated up then went home, by bicycle, trying not to tip over the container. (The contents are melty and slippery when warm, so when tilted, it tried spilling out.)
It was just okay, with the shrimp being a bit overcooked. It was a bit lacking in the flavor department. As expected, it tasted like instant food and for that price I wanted something a little more home-cooked tasting.
I'm gonna have to learn how to make this myself I guess.
