The description

This product is a box of four coffee bean shaped chocolates in four coffee-themed flavors -- black, espresso, caffe latte, and caramel macchiato. They're available from Kaldi Coffee Farm for 590 yen.

The good

From a visual standpoint, I think both the box that these chocolates come in (and the chocolates themselves) look really good. You get four chocolates in four unique flavors: black, espresso, caffe latte, and caramel macchiato -- so they're nice if you don't like a box of chocolates that all taste the same. The chocolates use the Mild Kaldi coffee blend in them, with the espresso and black chocolates having 1.2% coffee in them, and the latte and caramel macchiato ones having 0.8% coffee in them. These could also be a great gift item for the coffee lover in your life for Valentine's Day which is just around the corner.

The not so good

The quality of these is really good, and as I mentioned I feel like the presentation is fabulous as well. However, almost 600 yen for four pieces of chocolate puts this in the indulgent category in my opinion. It's not bad if you're wanting to treat yourself or give a nice gift, but it's not an everyday chocolate based on the price. I think this is still a great item to get for the coffee lovers out there if your budget allows for it, but for my everyday chocolate items I'll still be sticking to things like Dars or Crunky ;)
