I've mentioned it a few times already here on City-Cost, but we're a big Lego-loving family. My kids also love playing Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch, so we've been avidly collecting the new Animal Crossing Lego sets that were released recently. This one is the Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour set (set number 77048 - if you search for the number it will come up on Amazon), and it's super cute! It's recommended for ages 6 and up, and it's pretty quick to put together which is nice if you're looking for a stress-free build. Lots of adorable Lego details, including a sun lounger and umbrella, a hermit crab, a sandwich, and more to make for a well-rounded set.

As I mentioned above, this was a pretty quick build. That can be great for many reasons, but if you're wanting something more involved and time consuming then this probably isn't the best set to purchase. Overall though, we loved this set. It's so cute for Animal Crossing fans, it has lots of great details that show it was a well thought out offering, and I don't think the price is bad because of the quality. We'll be continuing to purchase other Lego sets in the Animal Crossing range when our household budget permits it. Happy building -- hope you also love it if you end up purchasing it!
