The description
This product is the new Strawberry Millefeuille Royal Milk Tea, a seasonal release from Tully's Coffee. You can get it in several sizes, and it was 650 yen for the tall.
The good
First of all, I think this drink presents really nicely. The base drink is Royal milk tea, but it's topped with whipped cream, strawberry sauce, and some millefeuille pastry pieces -- I think it just looks tasty! I love that you can get it in either iced or hot versions depending on your preference, and that it also comes in the full lineup of sizes (short, tall, and grande), which is in contrast to a lot of Starbucks seasonal drinks that come in one size only. If you like Royal milk tea and strawberry flavored things, then I think you'll really enjoy this combination.
The not so good
A couple of things to note -- this is still a pricey drink. I got the tall which was 650 yen, but there is the option to get the short which is slightly cheaper at 590 yen. I probably would have opted for that one in hindsight. Also, if you're not a fan of texture in your drinks of choice then you might not be a fan of the millefeuille pieces. Keep that in mind if you feel that's the case for you! Overall though, I thought this was tasty, and it's nice to see a seasonal drink that is tea-based rather than coffee-based, too. Not sure how much longer they'll be selling it for, so head into your nearest Tully's soon if it sounds appealing.
