Upcoming Niigata events: Niigata Jazz Street

I saw these leaflets when I was in Niigata City recently, and I thought they might be of interest to any locals or anyone who will be visiting the area over the summer. Niigata Jazz Street is running on the weekend of 18th and 19th of July (the weekend right before the Marine Day holiday on the 20th!), and it involves a bunch of local shops and concert venues which get transformed into live music spots!

A pass is priced at 2000 yen (which includes a 500 yen drink ticket), which gives you entry to all of the participating venues. I think it sounds like a really fun way to enjoy some live music on a long weekend!
