Heartwarming tale of the week

One of the things I really appreciate about countryside living is the sense of community. It might be by virtue of the fact that life in snow country can be tough at times, so you have to band together and help one another out.

You definitely see evidence of that during winters, when people help in shoveling snow for others. That might be clearing a space so they can get their car out, making sure their walkways are snow-free, or getting snow off someone's roof.

I'm just so thankful to see the proof of a helpful community in action on the daily here. Yukiguni residents are resilient and always ready to lend a hand, which is a huge part of why I love living out here, even if the snow can be insane at times.
