If you like cakes that have a lighter, fluffier consistency rather than dense, heavy cakes, then this cream chiffon cake from Starbucks right now is a great option to try out. It is pretty simple, too, just coming topped with a smooth whipped cream. I think if you prefer cakes that are delicious but don't need a ton of bells and whistles in terms of fancy toppings or fillings, then this will be right up your alley. Price-wise, I felt it was pretty reasonable for a Starbucks cake slice, coming in at just under 500 yen. Not a bargain, but not exorbitant for their standards, especially since it's a pretty generous portion size.

As I mentioned above in the positive features section, this is a pretty simple cake as far as desserts go -- the fluffy chiffon cake, and a simple whipped cream frosting.
