Tragedy in Kumamoto again

The picture below is of a (very well worn) fundraising t-shirt I purchased back in 2016 after Kumamoto's significant quake. After yesterday's quake I was hoping that the area wouldn't be too badly damaged, but some of the reports are showing that isn't the case. The biggest is the explosion at an Aeon Mall in Kashima, which is being reported by some media outlets as the result of a gas leak caused by the quake itself.

The pictures are confronting, and fatalities have already been reported as of this morning. I do hope the region can come together and rebuild, just as they did in 2016.
