When it comes to all the boxed omiyage options out there, Tokyo Banana is high at the top of my list, for a few reasons. One, they're cute, and two, they're loved by all ages -- in terms of being Western-palate friendly I think they also get some points there, too. This Tokyo Banana Custard Crepe is an easy way to get your fix if you're not transiting through an airport or major train station. The crepe has a filling of smooth banana custard, banana whipped cream, and fluffy sponge cake, so I think it emulates it really well! The price feels alright, especially since it's a collaboration product.

Obviously since this is a limited time collaboration product, it's only going to be on Family Mart's shelves for a pretty short window. If it does sound like a must-try item for you, I would recommend popping in to your nearest store sooner rather than later -- I'm not 100% sure how long it'll be available for. All things considered I think this is a really fun collab, pairing a yummy, chewy crepe with the best of Tokyo Banana's trademark flavors.
