If you're after a reasonably priced way to get your donut fix with a bit of added seasonal flair, this strawberry milk whipped donut from Family Mart is worth trying out. The donut is filled with a milky whipped cream which contains strawberry pulp, and then the whole thing is topped with a white chocolate coating and crunchy textured pieces on top. Everything works well together, and I particularly liked the white choc and strawberry flavor combo. At only 168 yen including tax I feel like it's a pretty good deal (especially when you compare it to some specialty/seasonal donuts at Mister Donut and the like), so I've got no real complaints there.

This is only a limited-time offering, so if you find yourself really enjoying it then you've only got a short window to get your hands on it. Always a bit of a bummer when that happens! Also, if you don't like textures in your donuts of choice, the crunchy bits on top and the strawberry pulp mixed into the milk cream filling might not be your cup of tea. Overall though, I personally liked this a lot, and I would happily recommend it to anyone who enjoys donuts and strawberry flavored things at this time of year. Happy eating, and enjoy! :)
