If you're looking for a sweet treat at Tully's but want something a bit more filling/meal-like than a piece of cake, I would recommend this Soft French toast option that they have on their menu at the moment. It's basically just two slices of bread that have been dipped in your usual French toast batter and cooked, but the bread maintains a really fluffy, soft consistency. At 440 yen I would say the price feels alright for a coffee shop item. It's by no means a bargain, but it's not what I would call exorbitant either, so I am counting that as a win! :)

If you like your French toast to be a bit more on the firm and crispy side of things, then this option might feel just a little bit too soft for your liking. Also, if you compare it to making French toast at home, it's definitely going to feel expensive for what essentially equates to two slices of bread. Overall though, if you're out and about and have a Tully's nearby, you might want to give this a go if you're looking for something <500 yen that manages to blur the lines between a sweet treat and a meal.
