It's the season for the sea of clouds!

One thing that the Uonuma region of Niigata is pretty well-known for (at least, within the prefecture) is the Sea of Clouds phenomenon that you can see in certain areas around this time of year.

I could see it on the live cam for the Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort from this morning, but the Uonuma Skyline road is one of the best places to enjoy the scenery if you have your own set of wheels!
