The description

This product is the Meiji Bulgaria aloe-flavored frozen yogurt, and it's a limited-time only offering as far as I know. It was priced at 183 yen (including tax).

The good

If you already like the Meiji Bulgaria yogurt product, this frozen yogurt version is a tasty option as the weather warms up. It contains the usual LB81 lactic acid bacteria, so you're doing something good for your digestive system, and the whole thing is only 92 calories -- so it's a relatively healthful way to satiate a sweet tooth. It's a nice deviation from some of the more standard fro-yo flavors, too. The aloe pulp in the sauce is fairly neutral, and honestly the taste of the yogurt is more prominent, so I think if you want a more simple sweet treat this is a good option to try.

The not so good

As I mentioned above, the aloe flavor/texture is fairly unnoticeable in this, and that can be both a good thing and a bad thing. If you're looking for a frozen yogurt treat that packs a real punch with flavors/add-ins, then this might not be the best option for you. I personally liked it, especially since the yogurt flavor was able to shine through, and I also like that it's a frozen treat that feels a little better for you than most other ice cream style products. Give it a try if you're looking for something different as the weather warms up -- happy eating! :)
