My family and I have been working our way through the Black Thunder range at Family Mart, and this chocolate crepe was our most recent taste test! This is a great treat for anyone who likes chocolate flavored things, since it really packs in the chocolate flavor. The crepe dough is chocolate flavored, and the filling of chocolate-coated cocoa cookie crumbles and chocolate whipped cream leaves nothing to the imagination -- this is a dessert that is heavy on the chocolate flavor in several forms. The price didn't seem too bad, especially when you compare it to a crepe at somewhere like Harajuku, for instance. Overall, tasty and a great option for the chocoholics out there!

Dare I say it, but I feel like this was almost too chocolatey. I think it would have felt a bit more balanced if there was something like vanilla offsetting the richness of the chocolate, but I'm glad I didn't eat this all myself -- it's sugar rush inducing. If you are a real chocoholic then you'll probably think this is fabulous, but I think a lot of other people will get where I'm coming from and understand that flavor-wise it needed something to break up the myriad of chocolate tastes and textures. Still, it's worth trying at least once -- keep an eye out for it at your local Family Mart if it sounds appealing.
