Would you give someone a trip instead of a Christmas present?

As a travel lover myself, a holiday sounds much more appealing than a physical gift for the festive season. I'd much rather have a new place to explore and memories to look back on than something that might end up gathering dust on a shelf, and apparently I'm not the only one!

According to a new survey of people living in Japan from travel company Trip.com, 53% would like to give someone a trip for Christmas, while 57.2% said they'd love to receive one themselves. 

I wouldn't be mad about a trip back to Okinawa for Christmas, for instance ;)
