Parts of the Kanetsu Expressway closed due to snow

It takes a bit for expressways to get closed due to snow out this way, but today, part of the Kanetsu Expressway has succumbed to it!  The southbound route between Shibukawa-Ikaho IC and Yuzawa IC and the northbound lane between Yuzawa IC and Tsukiyono IC are closed, so please plan accordingly if you had transit planned between those areas. 

I am appreciative that they'd use their foresight to close it, as I imagine there's not much worse than the potential of a massive car pileup or being stranded in the snow on an expressway!
