As far as donuts go, this is a fairly simple one, but I honestly think that's what makes it great. You've got your standard cakey old fashioned donut, but it comes with a white chocolate glaze infused with vanilla seeds. You can visibly see the vanilla flecks in the coating, which I always think is nice for a bit of authenticity! The portion size is pretty decent, and price-wise I think it's on par with some of the fancier donuts at Misdo, so I feel like the value for money aspect isn't awful. It's not what I'd call a bargain, but it's not exorbitantly priced for a Starbucks dessert, either.

If you do prefer your donuts of choice to have more involved toppings, fillings, etc. then this one might feel like it misses the mark a bit for you. Also, if you are just looking for a donut fix and don't care too much about flavor or where you get it from, there are absolutely cheaper options at places like Mister Donut or even your local convenience store! Overall though, if you are looking for a sweet treat at Starbucks then I would recommend this item for both the great flavor and the more reasonable price tag it has compared to some of their other dessert offerings.
