The description

This product is a spicy miso cup noodle product from 7-11 in collaboration with Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto. It was priced at 259 yen (including tax).

The good

I've noticed quite a few spicy cup noodle products popping up on convenience store and supermarket shelves lately, and I'm sure it's because it's winter -- and spice feels nice at this time of year! This spicy miso offering is a collaboration between 7-11 and the ramen restaurant chain Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto, which has a number of stores across Japan (https://www.moukotanmen-nakamoto.com/shop/) The thing that makes this really spicy is the sachet of chili oil that comes on top of the cup noodle, so you could always use that sparingly if you don't want it to be super spicy. I loved how many toppings were on this, especially the big chunks of tofu.

The not so good

If you add the entire oil sachet this is very spicy (I think you can even tell by the picture that it's a spicy cup noodle) so just keep that in mind if you're not a spice fan. You could always go without the oil sachet or add it sparingly like I mentioned above if you don't want a tastebud burning experience. Overall though I thought this was a good cup noodle, it feels like a suitable winter release and the generous toppings made it seem like pretty good value for money. Keep an eye out for it at your local 7-11 store if it sounds appealing to you. Happy eating, and enjoy!
