The description

This product is a three pack of quarter length socks from Puma, and the pairs are each a separate color. I ordered them online via Amazon Japan for 1320 yen.

The good

My son seems to wear through socks like crazy, so this purchase was to replace some of his existing socks that have holes in them! The first thing I noticed about these as soon as I took them out of the packaging was that they had a lovely thickness to them -- they are more expensive than your average 100 yen store pair of kids socks, but I can tell that they are a nicer quality. The packaging even notes that they have reinforcement in the toe and the heel, so here's to hoping they hold up well! I also like that they come in three different colors -- there's a blue and white, a dark greenish and yellow, and a black and red pair, so quite a bit of variety.

The not so good

Based on initial pricing alone, it might seem a bit expensive to spend 1320 yen on three pairs of socks, when you could get three pairs from a 100 yen store for 330 yen including tax. In saying that, I really do notice the quality difference with these, they're so much thicker and feel way more durable. I think if you factor that in, and realize that they're likely to hold up better (fingers crossed for no holes!) then I think they're worth the price. If you search for Puma BOYS 4293264 Quarter Length Socks on Amazon Japan they should come up. Happy shopping!
