The good
If you love the taste of pears, this La France jam from Kaldi Coffee Farm is so, so delicious and worth purchasing. I love that it's quite versatile -- I use it on Greek yogurt and on toast, but I also think you could make it into a marinade or salad dressing if you mixed it with some other ingredients! It's made using pears sourced from Yamagata Prefecture, too, and I always appreciate when things contain local produce. The jar isn't particularly large, but the quality is good -- I'd buy it again when I've finished this jar, which is always a good sign!
The not so good
As I mentioned above, the jar size for this is fairly small (100 grams) for almost 600 yen, so it is a bit pricey. I love the flavor though, and it really helps to jazz up plain Greek yogurt or a piece of bread -- and because of that I think it's worth the splurge if you're a pear flavor fan. I don't know if this is a staple product of theirs or only around for a limited time, but needless to say, if it sounds good to you then have a look for it at your nearest Kaldi Coffee Farm store sooner rather than later.
