A comprehensive list of Niigata's summer fireworks events

One thing that goes hand in hand with summer in Japan is fireworks events, and there are some great ones here in Niigata. The big one is the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival (widely regarded as one of the best in all of the country!) but there are plenty of other events to check out, too.

I love prefectural tourism sites for many reasons, and Niigata's one has a comprehensive listing of over 60 fireworks events and their confirmed dates for this year.
