The description

This product is a bag of holiday chocolates from Kaldi Coffee Farm -- you get 6 bell shaped ones (milk choc) and 6 tree ones (dark choc). The bag was 530 yen including tax.

The good

This bag of holiday chocolates is another cute and easy way from Kaldi Coffee Farm store to get into the spirit of the season. The bag contains a total of 12 individually wrapped chocolates -- 6 in the shape of bells, and 6 in the shape of Christmas trees -- and they both have different flavors. The bell shaped ones are milk chocolate with caramel flavored ganache filling, and the tree shaped ones are dark chocolate with a hazelnut flavored ganache filling. I was honestly surprised with the quality of the chocolate since I assumed they'd be "kiddy" chocolates, but they're genuinely very good and smooth! The individual wrapping means they are easy to share, which is nice if you're making Christmas goodie bags, adding them to stockings, or just snacking on them at home and not wanting to demolish an entire bag ;)

The not so good

Since you only get 12 chocolates in a bag, it might seem like these don't offer the best value for money since the bag is priced at 530 yen. However, I do think the quality of these is really good (I was pleasantly surprised) so I wouldn't let the price tag dissuade you from purchasing them too much. Of course, the individual wrapping has pros and cons -- it's nice from a shareability standpoint, but really not the best for the environment since it's all single use plasticky-foil. Taste-wise though these are surprisingly delish and very cute to boot.
