This onigiri is definitely simple in terms of its fillings -- it just contains Alaskan salmon and salt with your usual rice and nori wrapping -- but I think it's one of those scenarios where "if it's not broken, don't fix it" applies. The flavor of the salmon was great and it was enhanced by the salt, and I also appreciated that the salmon was moist and not dry. I also liked that it was very filling, too! You could have it as a snack to hold you over well, or even as a light meal. I think because it's so filling it makes the cost effectiveness feel even greater. I would happily recommend this to anyone who likes salmon.

I do think in terms of flavor this is quite a simple onigiri -- that wasn't a bad thing for me, but if you like more sauce-filled onigiri or perhaps something that packs a punch with spices or seasonings, I'd suggest opting for something different. That small note aside, I really enjoyed this and thought the simplicity was actually a selling point. If you're looking for a filling snack or light meal that manages to remain relatively healthful, this onigiri is a winner in my eyes. Happy eating, and enjoy!
