The description

This product is a nashi-scented body scrub from the House of Rose brand. I ordered it online from Amazon Japan, and it was priced at 1650 yen. It comes in various other scents, too.

The good

If you like fruity scented body scrubs, this "Oh Baby" scrub from the House of Rose brand is a nice option to try. It comes in a fairly paste-type consistency, and you basically grab a chunk out and mix it with a bit of water while you're in the shower to make it pliable enough to scrub your body with. I like that it helps to exfoliate my skin without feeling overly drying, and the scent is lovely -- I'm a fan of all things pear-scented, so this was a real winner for me. A little does go a long way, so even though the container is fairly small it'll probably last a while.

The not so good

As I mentioned above, the container of this is pretty small, and it is kinda pricey for what it is at 1650 yen. You can DIY things like this with coarse salt, essential oils, and coconut oil at a fraction of the cost, so if you're trying to save a bit then you can always look into doing something like that. I bought this for a little treat for myself since I had some City-Cost gift card money to spare, so it was a fairly guilt-free purchase. Overall, I think if you're a fan of pear-scented things this is a nice product that works well, but I have to take a star off for the cost-effectiveness which isn't the best.
