Interesting item for sale at the post office

I’m often in at the local post office, and I often find myself checking out the new stamps, postcards, and other little bits and pieces for sale. Yesterday when I was there mailing off some parcels I noticed something different...

They were selling 1kg bags of local rice! I mean -this is a big rice growing area, but I found it rather interesting that whoever was selling it somehow struck up a deal with Japan Post to have their product in store.

Ever seen anything unusual for sale at your local post office, apart from the regular stamps, postcards and the like?
