Jalan's top 10 spring views list

For those of us who are already dreaming of spring, travel site Jalan has published its ranking of the country's most beautiful seasonal flower views!

Topping the ranking is the Minami Sakura and Nanohana Festival in Shizuoka, with its combo of pretty pink and vibrant yellow. Also in Shizuoka and taking out second place, Shiroyama Sakura offers a 400-metre riverside stretch of early-blooming cherry trees.

For plum lovers, Inabe City Agricultural Park (3rd place) features around 2,000 trees in dozens of varieties, while Tsukigase Plum Grove (8th place) has some historic valley views and a pretty impressive 10,000 blossoms to enjoy.

Later in the season, the famous wisteria displays at Ashikaga Flower Park (5th place) are another springtime scene well worth checking out!

The full list can be found at the Jalan press release here.

No surprises with Shizuoka, beauty everywhere. That's a gorgeous feature photo.
