As someone who loves both coffee and chocolate flavors (and is even happier when the two are combined), this new Meiji Essel Super Cup is right up my alley. At only 173 yen including tax I feel like it's very well priced, especially when you compare it to the likes of Haagen Dazs individual tubs which are basically double the cost. The chocolate chips are surprisingly generous, and the overall taste was excellent -- the chocolate and coffee flavors work together really well. This is a product that I'd be happy to buy again and again, or at least for as long as it's available!

Although the chocolate chips are quite generously dotted throughout the product, I wouldn't say it's the best quality chocolate out there. Obviously at only 173 yen I'm not expecting gourmet Belgian chocolate or the like, but I think the product could be elevated even more with a tastier chocolate -- and I'd be happy to pay a bit more for it! Overall though, a solidly tasty product that combines two of my favorite flavors. If you're a lover of all things coffee and chocolate flavored, I'd recommend giving this one a go.
