A cute Pompompurin hotel collab in Fukuoka

I'm in my 40s now, but my love of Sanrio characters hasn't really gone anywhere. I still get a little excited when I spot a cute character collaboration in Japan, so naturally, this Pompompurin-themed hotel stay in Fukuoka caught my attention!

Hotel New Otani Hakata has two specially decorated rooms themed around the popular character available at the moment. One is filled with Pompompurin and his friends, and the other has a fun laboratory theme.

The stay also comes with a few exclusive souvenirs, including a Pompompurin plush toy, an embroidered Imabari towel, and a Hakata-ori pouch. I thought the pouch was a nice touch, incorporating some of Fukuoka's traditional textile craftsmanship into the collaboration.

The room rates aren't exactly cheap, but if you're in the area for a special occasion it might be one to look into!
