The description

This product is an acai yogurt cup, and it's a seasonal, limited-time offering available at Tully's Coffee stores across Japan. It was priced at 765 yen including tax.

The good

I really enjoy all things acai, and any time a cafe has an acai bowl or similar on their menu I feel like it's almost a must-try. This acai yogurt bowl option from Tully's Coffee is a bit different from usual acai products in that it has a yogurt-flavored mousse base, acai sorbet, and a topping of diced coconut and strawberries. The entire thing is only 181 calories, so it's great if you're looking for a dessert-type product that isn't too heavy -- because of that I feel like it's a really good release as we roll into summer. It also isn't cloyingly sweet, so that aspect is nice as well.

The not so good

The product does come frozen, so you have to let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes until it's easy enough to dig into with a spoon. If you're looking for an instant gratification dessert, then maybe this one isn't the best option for you. Also, the price can be a bit of a deterrent, I think. I often bring my laptop to my local Tully's and sit there to work, so I look at the pricing as a "cost of admission" thing. Also, I guess it's about the same price as a frap from Starbucks, for instance, and this felt much more healthy and nourishing. Overall, I'd recommend it to acai lovers, but the price might be prohibitive.
